You can purchase numerous books from different authors to read on your iPhone. Im pretty sure that its on Windows as well. Its free but you can pay for additional features. fb2 (I think), you can read books from your SD card,onedrive or online resources. IBooks Author is incredibly usable and makes creating static or interactive ebooks very easy thanks to the what you see is what you get creation and previewing. iBooks is a great app to get access to bestselling books of different genres. Its perfect, allows access to SD card but reads only.
This week, some blogs announced that the Pages upgrade replaced iBooks Author – “iBooks Author is Gone, And it’s Been Folded into Pages.” Is iBooks Author any good? If you’ve previously downloaded the app, you can still access it from your App Store purchase history. iBooks Author will no longer be updated, and it won’t be available to new users as of July 1, 2020. IBooks Author will no longer be updated, and iTunes U is being discontinued at the end of 2021. Other interesting Windows alternatives to iBooks Author are Microsoft Word (Paid), Manuskript (Free, Open Source), Walling (Freemium) and WPS Writer (Freemium). IBooks Author is not available for Windows but there are plenty of alternatives that runs on Windows with similar functionality. Navigate to that folder, then click Choose. iMazing presents a Save dialog, asking you to select a folder for the books to be saved. Select your device in the iMazings sidebar, then select iBooks.
